- Choose or drop your images.
- Enter your text, or choose a logo.
- Set the position, size and opacity, then select Add watermark.
Questions
What makes a good logo watermark?
A PNG or SVG with a transparent background. It is scaled to a share of each image’s width, so it looks the same on large and small images.
Does a watermark stop copying?
It makes reuse obvious and harder to pass off, especially when repeated across the image. Nothing stops copying completely.
Can I watermark ID documents?
Yes, but the ID Document Watermark tool is set up for that, with a note of who the copy is for and the date.
Which files can I use?
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, ICO, TGA, QOI, PPM/PGM/PBM and SVG.
