- Set the start and end, or play to a moment and select Start here and End here.
- Pick the frame rate and width, then select Make GIF.
Questions
How do I make the GIF smaller?
Use a shorter clip, fewer frames per second or a smaller width. Turning off dithering helps too, though gradients may look banded.
Why do the colours look different?
GIFs can only use 256 colours, so a palette is made from your clip. Dithering mixes colours to fake the ones in between.
Is there a length limit?
Up to 300 frames, so 30 seconds at 10 frames a second. Larger sizes allow fewer frames.
