Questions
Which effect is safest for text?
A solid box. Light blurring or pixelation of text can sometimes be reversed, so use a solid box for passwords, card numbers and anything else sensitive.
Is the original detail kept anywhere in the file?
No. The pixels are changed before the image is saved, and the new file has no metadata from the original.
Can I undo a region?
Yes. Undo removes the last one, and Clear removes them all.
Which files can I use?
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, ICO, TGA, QOI, PPM/PGM/PBM and SVG.
