Why can’t I see any fields?
The PDF doesn’t have fillable fields: it may be a scan or a plain document. Use Sign PDF to place text, a date or a signature anywhere on the page.
What does flatten do?
It turns the answers into part of the page, so they look the same everywhere and can’t be edited. Keep a copy without flattening if you might need to change them.
Which characters can I type?
English and Western European letters and symbols. Other characters show as question marks, because of the fonts most forms use.
